Her once blossoming career hit a rough spell last year when she was arrested for allegedly playing a role in the sale of cocaine to an undercover reporter.

But Tulisa Contostavlos has now denied reports claiming she is planning a triumphant small screen comeback with a new, 'warts and all' reality show.

The troubled 25-year-old, who appeared at a hearing in April, is currently preparing herself for a July trial after being charged with conspiring to supply the Class A drug in 2013.

But while she looks ahead to her day in court, Tulisa was reported to have agreed terms on a deal to star in a new documentary show with digital channel BBC Three.

Tulisa's spokesperson told MailOnline: 'This is nonsense.'

A source had told the Daily Mirror: 'Tulisa has had a number of offers but has been biding her time, finding the right one.

'Annoyingly her hands have been tied by the ongoing trial, and there's so much she would love to say but is not allowed to yet, legally. The series will be no-holds barred and Tulisa wants people to see the real her.

'She knows her image has had something of a bashing, and is determined to turn things around.'

Another representative told MailOnline: 'Tulisa hasn't agreed to star in any reality TV series. She is discussing other TV projects though, but not currently a reality show.'

The news came in the midst of her court crisis, with another hearing scheduled for June 25 and subsequent trial pencilled in for July 14.

The former X Factor judge will face charges for allegedly assisting undercover reporters obtain 13.9g of Class A drug cocaine for £860 between May 20 and May 24 2013, a charge she denies.

Meanwhile, it seems that the singer is planning a return to the music scene, as she revealed on Twitter that she is attending a studio session.

It will be the first time the former X Factor judge has released music since her debut solo album The Female Boss back in 2012.

As a solo singer, her first single Young topped the charts, but The Female Boss was considered a flop.

It's thought Tulisa has been working hard in the studio since last year, although as of yet there has been no news on when her new sounds can be expected.
