It is a step in the right direction for Lindsay who has been struggling to get her career back on track following multiple arrest and rehab stints.

When she appeared in an episode of Charlie Sheen's Anger Management she played herself so no doubt her fans will be eager to see her get back to acting.

Meanwhile a trailer for Lindsay's new reality TV show has been released and all does not seem well.

It was a risk for Oprah Winfrey to work with the troubled actress and one she appears to regret in the first trailer for Lindsay's reality TV show.

Oprah is making the documentary series for her network OWN but the sneak pic for the show, which will air on Sunday at 10pm, shows the media mogul getting increasingly frustrated with Lindsay for being unreliable.

At one stage she warns: 'You need to cut the bulls**t.'

Oprah gets annoyed after being told that Lindsay has been by staff on the show, 'She has changed things every single day – not following the rules that they agreed to.

'She wouldn't commit to shoot next week so we had to cancel.'

She even threatens to cancel the show, saying: 'My truth is that I want you to win, I really do.

'If that isn't what you want I'm OK with that. I'll tell these guys to pack up and go away today.'

However, Lindsay asks to be forgiven and later says: 'I know that this is my last shot at doing what I love to do.'
