This Hulk was never green with envy.
After seeing the lack of privacy that plagues his muscle-bound pals like Hulk Hogan, Brooklyn-born bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno is glad he squashed offers to do reality TV.
"The shows where cameras follow you around, focusing on your personal life, dealing with drugs and stuff like that, I am not interested," the 62-year-old muscleman tells Confidenti@l. "Fame comes too easy these days."
Florida's Second District Court ruled this week that Gawker.com could publish a porn tape featuring Hogan, who starred in his own VH1 reality show from 2005-07. Hogan has admitted he was suicidal at the end of the show's run.
Ferrigno, who wilted under the bright lights of the 1977 documentary "Pumping Iron," which made Arnold Schwarzenegger a household name, says he's had reality-show offers over the years and is happy now that he didn't do one.
"I don't want to do those shows and would never do those shows. I am not pointing the finger," he adds, "but it is not for me."

Former Mr. Universe Ferrigno, who will appear at Saturday's Bodybuilding.Com Fitexpo Southern California, is using his enduring fame to promote healthy living for kids. Along with his daughter Shanna, the original "Incredible Hulk" actor is backing a 12-week fitness program called "Incredibly Fit" to help obese Americans get in shape.
"Young people today are looking for shortcuts," he says. "They always think there is a supplement out there to make them grow faster."
Ferrigno tells Confidenti@l, "It's all about hard work. Today people don't work as we did in the day."
There doesn't appear to be bad blood between Ferrigno and his former "Mr. Universe" nemesis, Schwarzenegger, who's getting big money for a Bud Lite Super Bowl commercial in which he plays a ping-pong star.
In fact, Ferrigno would like to challenge Uh-nold in a game of table tennis. "If he asked me I would be happy to play him," he said.
