When Bravo launched the "Real Housewives" franchise their aim was to show the world just how fabulous life was "behind the gates". But is it really? Every season and every new franchise shows glitz, glamor, and sometimes even a little gore, when you look at what life is really like being a real housewife. Since the Real Housewives franchise launched, the world has watched marriages crumble, friendships decimate, bankruptcies, estate sales, fraud charges, and even suicide tear apart the lives of those behind the gates. After seeing this over the years, would you take relationship advice from one of the "Real Housewives"? One of the very first "Real Housewives", Vicki Gunvalson of the "Real Housewives of Orange County" feels that while she may be an insurance broker by day, when it comes to her castmates, she feels she's the best person to advise them of their marital troubles. According to She Knows on July 2, the divorced Vicki Gunvalson ran to the aid of castmate Shannon Beador w hen word leaked that Beador's marriage was on the rocks. Vicki's relationship advice? She thinks Shannon needs to do a little more bar top dancing if she wants her marriage to be saved, according to She Knows.

It's fair to say that Vicki may know a thing or two about marriages, since she herself has experienced a public and awkward divorce. This Orange County resident thus felt she was well equipped to rush to cast mate Shannon Beador's side when word got out that Shannon was worried about her marriage.

While Shannon Beador has been feeling neglected in her marriage for some time, it was only recently that the world saw cracks in the relationship. Apparently owning a home with indoor basketball courts and in house theater room isn't enough to keep Shannon Beador warm at night. On a recent episode of the "Real Housewives of Orange County", Shannon broke down in front of the cameras and her friends and revealed that her marriage problems were causing enough heartache to send her to a cardiologist.
People Magazine reports Shannon's tearful experiences when she discussed the marital problems in detail.

"The times David and I argue hurt my heart. David wrote an email to me. The last portion said he should move out for a while. This is rocking my world. These are words I've never heard before. Divorce is not an option. I love my husband, and I want to grow old with him."

Both Shannon and her husband come from families that are divorced, and she is determined to do everything she can to save the marriage. The couple, like any couple really, have argued over everything from the temperature of water to whether or not they will attend cotillions together. Shannon also reported on a recent episode that the two's opposite schedules are very painful for her.
Shannon revealed in a recent episode that her husband is in bed by 8:30 P.M. every night, turning in every day at the same time as the children. Shannon herself on the other hand is awake until 1 or 2 AM, and this leaves her feeling neglected and unloved.

"I feel unloved. And I don't think anybody wants to feel that way. I feel sad and I feel alone….it's not the way a marriage should be…I just want to figure out what I can do to make it better."

In desperation, Shannon has even said she would change her entire sleep schedule for the man she loves. And the world gave a collective "Awww" for Shannon, as she is one of the "Real Housewives" that audiences genuinely feel bad for. Feeling neglected by a partner is one of the most heartbreaking things a woman can experience, and Shannon's plight makes her seem one of the "realest" housewives the world has seen to date.

But going to bed a bit earlier is not the relationship advice that Vicki Gunvalson has offered to her friend and Orange County 'partner in crime'. The divorced Gunvalson thinks the key to Shannon's happy marriage resides in a little bit of bar top dancing according to She Knows.

When the "Real Housewives of Orange County" headed to Mexico together, David Beador came alone in an attempt to bond closer with his wife. Vicki's relationship fixes included a small bedroom, some cigars, and a tequila tasting. Even so, relaxing was out of the question for Shannon, at which point Vicki piped up, "I think Shannon needs to get on a bar top and dance."

Which she did not. The Beador's at this point appear to be trying to work through their issues, according to Fashion & Style. Fashion & Style reports that Shannon recently wrote on her Bravo TV blog the most recent events in her marriage,

"It is a reality that couples argue and things are not always perfect. Resolution of conflicts and communication are factors that define a successful marriage. For better or worse, you are seeing an honest and authentic representation of my marital struggles with David and I hope that some of you can relate and improve upon your relationship as we do with ours."

It sounds like there may be some hope for the Beador's if David takes his own wife's relationship advice and begins paying a little more attention to her.

Isn't that what every girl wants? One does not need to be one of the Real Housewives to know that, but it is encouraging to know that they have the same relationship problems that everybody else has.

Former co-star of the "Real Housewives of Orange County" Lizzie Rosvek concurs, offering relationship advice to Shannon that is a little more realistic than the bar top dancing tip Vicki Gunvalson offered. Lizzie recently told Fashion & Style,

"I think Shannon is a great person and it's hard to see her going through such a tough time. Marriage is hard and it takes work. Everyone goes through hard times and I think it took a lot for Shannon to share this part of her life with the world."

Meanwhile, down in the Hills of Beverly, Maloof rumors are afoot that Adrienne Maloof and Camille Grammer, ex-wife to Chelsea Grammer will be returning for the next season of the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills". Former castmate Adrienne Maloof who was previously married to Dr. Paul Nassif when they appeared on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has been rumored to be coming back to the show.

During her season, the world saw the Maloof/Nassif marriage crumble when word was leaked that they had conceived their twin boys via a surrogate. People Magazine has learned that the chances of either Maloof or Camille Grammer returning are unlikely, and is reporting these rumors only surfaced when Adrienne and Camille appeared at Kyle Richard's annual white party.
But the Maloof and Nassif breakup still has left viewers with more questions than answers.

Do you think Brandi Glanville is the real reason Adrienne and Dr. Paul broke up? From the sounds of it, if it were Adrienne doling out the relationship advice, she would be telling Shannon to start shopping around the college towns for a new man.

Shortly after the infamous feud between Adrienne Maloof and Brandi Glanville that reportedly broke up the Maloof and Nassif relationship, Adrienne was dating the 33-year-old son of Rod Stewart, Sean. When that ended, 24-year-old Jacob Busch of the Anheuser-Busch empire was next on her list of dating partners, and is still currently dating Adrienne Maloof.

What relationship advice would you give to Shannon Beador?
