Many hearts were shattered when it was announced in July 2014 that the couple was expecting their first child. Though the couple has been plagued with breakup rumors for some time, the parents of baby Esmeralda Amada were recently seen having a night out on the town. (Take that, haters.)

Mendes and Gosling met while shooting the 2011 movie The Place Beyond the Pines, and that year, the two were spotted hanging out off set, first sparking rumors of a possible romance.

Ariana Grande and Big Sean were friends before they were lovers. For a big part of 2014, the two were linked, but both denied being an item. It wasn't until the MTV VMAs that we got the confirmation we needed: the two walked around backstage holding hands.

Now, the couple has no problem showing off their chemistry, though Grande clearly had a crush before then and couldn't help gushing when she first met Big Sean in 2012 at Wango Tango.

"I just met Big Sean, and he was really sweet," she said. "And he gave me a hug and we took a picture, and I love him…He's so cute."

These two good-looking kids met on the set of From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series. After persuading Cotrona to join Instagram and posting about her co-star on several occasions, many believed the two were dating.

Gonzalez denied it at first, but in September, she admitted that she was dating Cotrona. Since then, she has shared pictures of the two of them vacationing and working out together. With more From Dusk Till Dawn coming, we're sure we'll see a lot more of these two.

For years, people have wanted Angelique Boyer and Sebastián Rulli to get together. It started on the set of Teresa, where they played love interests. In 2014, when Boyer had just ended a relationship with Jose Alberto Castro, and she and Rulli were in the midst of Lo Que La Vida Me Robó, the rumors went into overdrive.

The two finally confessed to being in a relationship in late September, and they have been adorably sharing bits and pieces of their love life since.

Hollywood's most beautiful couple? Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello heated up and took center stage in every entertainment mag and website. In an interview with Access Hollywood, Vergara said she briefly met her "hot boyfriend" at the White House Correspondent's Dinner in 2014. (Manganiello is even caught checking her out in an image.) They were formally introduced a month later, and she said that she wooed him.

The two are now reportedly engaged, so we'll definitely be hearing more about this couple in 2015!

Selena Gomez may have made plenty of headlines in 2014 for her on-again, off-again relationship with Justin Bieber, but it seems the former Disney star is moving on. She and Zedd were seen at a Golden Globes after party holding hands, and he recently posted a picture of himself video chatting with Gomez. (While she wore lingerie.)

Zedd has been working with Gomez on her latest album, and in one of her Instagram posts, she talked about missing him.

"[M]issing la and this punk, just a little tonight," she said. All we have to say is: Way to go, Sel.

Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden were rumored to be dating in May 2014, and it was eventually revealed that the couple was set up by none other than Madden's sister-in-law, Nicole Richie.

"I approve of anything that's going to make Benji happy," Richie said. "I am a devoted sister in law. I'm happy for anyone who is happy, and I want everyone to be surrounded with love."

Seemed the set up paid off! Diaz and Madden tied the knot on Jan. 5.

Baby Milan's mom and dad have been together since 2011. The secretive couple didn't confirm their relationship right away, but nowadays, the two are expecting a second baby (any day now!) and they are much more willing to talk about their relationship.

"I think, if you can prove the existence of God, it can only be proven through love," she told ELLE in 2013. "I even had lost my faith for a while...I started to think that there was no God. And suddenly I meet Gerard and the sun comes out."

In 2014, Naya Rivera shocked us all when she married Ryan Dorsey. Rivera got hitched just a few months after her split from Big Sean. The two had been friends for years and the couple said their relationship was "fated."

"We feel truly blessed to be joined as husband and wife," the couple told People. "Our special day was fated and everything we could have ever asked for."

November 2013 was when Iggy Azalea and Nick Young started dating, but they met via Twitter. Their first date was at Target, and on their anniversary, the couple went back to the store to commemorate the milestone.

Though sometimes, they celebrate their love by licking each other on the face. Whatever works, you know?

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds went from on-screen couple to real-life couple, just not right away. The twosome met on the set of Green Lantern, and they were just as secretive about their relationship as they were about their wedding.

Lively and Reynolds surprised everyone by secretly getting married in September 2012.

The two, who recently welcomed their first child, are inseparable, as she told Vogue in 2014.

"He's a part of [Preserve] because everything we do in life we do together," she said. "If I'm working on a movie, he helps with my character; I do the same with him. Picking out a coffee table. What we're going to eat. He's a beautiful writer–he's written a lot of stuff for us."

Though it was rumored that Zoe Saldana and Marco Perego met and got married within a month, the actress denies it. She told The Hollywood Reporter that she has known Perego for five years.

"I knew of his work," she said. "I knew of him. Then we met. And months later, we both made the decision to do what we both individually vowed never to do – to get married."

Now, the couple are parents to twins Cy and Bowie, who have possibly the coolest names of all time.

Angeline Jolie and Brad Pitt's relationship may have gotten off to a scandalous start, but the two, who met and fell in love while shooting the 2005 flick Mr. and Mrs. Smith, have shown that they're truly in love and have risen to be the It Hollywood couple.

In September, the couple revealed they were married, as Jolie posed in a custom dress. The couple's children–Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox–decorated the Versace gown with their drawings.

And it turns out Jolie and Pitt are even more romantic than we originally thought. The two had actually married before their September ceremony.

"One day I said to Brad, 'Let's meet up at 4:30 pm?'" she told Io Donna. "I called a justice of the peace and we signed the documents."
