Think back to 1990, and of all the changes between then and now. Think of all the questionable haircuts, style trends and relationships you've gone through over the past 25 years. Celebrities have gone through them too, and luckily (for us) they did it in front of the camera.
In celebration of Sunday's Golden Globes, we hopped into our awards show time machine and pushed the lever all the way to 1990.
What we found was an adorable Neil Patrick Harris, celebrity couples that time forgot and a whole lot of hair. Behold, the faces and fashion of the 47th Annual Golden Globes.

This is a time of celebration, Julia. You just won a Golden Globe for
Steel Magnolias! Where are you hiding your award-winning smile?

The famous phrase actually goes: Less is more ... unless you are talking about Buseys.

Do you remember the show
Anything But Love? Jamie Lee Curtis and the shiny Golden Globe she won for the series do.

What are '90s power couples made of? Well-structured updos, distant stares and carefully wrapped sashes.

If you want everybody to know your name, winning an award usually helps.

Before Sheridan became a
Desperate Housewife, she was hand-holding buddies with 1987's Sexiest Man Alive.
Jessica Lange

Lange had plenty to grin about: At the time of this photo she had two Golden Globe wins and another three waiting in her future. Could this year make it an even six?

In 1990, Lansbury took home her third Globe for
Murder She Wrote, proving crime pays.

Oh Suzanne, what big, glittery shoulder pads you have! All the better to enchant us into buying a ThighMaster with, my dear.

Why is ageless wonder Freeman smiling like a child on Halloween? Because he just snagged his first major award for
Driving Miss Daisy.

There's a doctor in the house, and he's precious. The artist formerly known as
Doogie Howser showed up to the 1990 show with his equally adorable mom as his date.
