The dismal results that came from Sunday night's finale of The Block: Glasshouse saw some teams walk away with only $10,000 after almost five months of hard work on the reality TV show.

While winners, siblings Shannon and Simon Voss, walked away with close to half a million dollars in cash after their $435, 000 win, while other Blockheads were left with far less.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Monday, judge Shaynna Blaze said she was 'shocked' by the finale, saying 'They were all worthy of a good result, but in reality that doesn't mean a place will sell'.

'In the real world, if the market is down, the buyers dictate the price...and who wins,' she said.

'It's a competition at the end of the day, the couples were probably expecting a better result due to the last two seasons, where most contestants did very well.'

The shock final figures weren't the only scandal  of the season, with Melbourne mother-of-two Deanne Jolly, who competed with husband Darren, at one point dubbing Shaynna 'a bogan from Wantirna who's got no f*****g idea, and I will out style you any day.'

Weeks on from the incident, which both women say they have since resolved, Shaynna revealed that the two had only met twice throughout filming, as the renovations and judging are shot separately.

Graciously addressing their current relationship, Shaynna said, 'The funny thing is we have no relationship! I've only met the woman twice in my life.

'After what she said about me she rang and apologised, so that's that.'

Although Dee would be forgiven for being bitter about the final take-home prize for her and Darren on The Block, Shaynna says she feels sorry for the painter and plumber siblings - despite their win.

'I do feel sorry for the boys,' she said, 'they cant celebrate to the fullest because of the other contestants' sad situation.'

'They shouldn't feel obliged to share their cash with the others 'as what they do with their money is up to them,' she added. 'I don't think it's fair to ask them to share it, no other contestants have had to do that in the past.

'In previous seasons of the show people have won $400,000 or more and they haven't had to share it around with those who didn't make as much.'

Shaynna, who also stars on Selling Houses Australia and will front the Grand Designs live shows when they kick off in Melbourne this month, wasn't present on auction day for the nail-biting finish.

She says she and fellow judges Darren Palmer and Neale Whitaker don't usually attend as 'it's not fair for us to lurk about and put even more pressure on the teams.

'We don't want the couples to think that we are judging as well as the buyers,' she explains.

'Unfortunately not enough people came to the auctions and were fighting for the apartments and if they missed out on the the reserve they wanted. '

Shaynna will return to our screens on The Block 2015 which will be set in South Yarra, Melbourne.

Her next project sees her join Kevin McCloud, Peter Maddison and other stars for Grand Designs Home Show exhibition Grand Theatre.

Fans of The Block, Selling Houses Australia and Grand Designs will have a chance to speak with the TV shows hosts and presenters.

Shaynna can't wait for the exhibition saying 'I'm really excited, it's going to be lots of fun!'

'There will be expert interior tips and real estate advice. There will be more discussion and opinions on what happened last night on the show in terms of real estate.' The TV host added.

The exhibition will be run in Melbourne from the 17th to the 19th of October before heading in to Sydney.
